What this policy covers
This policy explains how YourRep! handles information in the iPhone app, Apple Watch app and this website.
Data processed by the app
YourRep! processes the following information on your devices to provide its training features:
- workout plans, exercise history, repetitions, set timing and training preferences;
- motion data from iPhone or Apple Watch to detect and analyse repetitions;
- heart-rate data when you choose to allow HealthKit access;
- custom exercise images when you choose one from your photo library or take a photo.
This information is used only to provide the app's training, review and backup features. YourRep! has no user accounts, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs or third-party analytics.
Storage and backups
Training data, settings and custom images are stored locally on your device. YourRep! supports local backups and backup-file export. If iCloud Drive is available and enabled for YourRep!, the app may also copy its latest backup to your own iCloud Drive, automatically at most once per day. A manual retry can prepare another copy.
Backups contain training plans, exercise history, settings and custom exercise images. Training entries include recorded times, repetitions, weights, median velocity and, where present, health data saved in those entries. A backup is not a copy of your entire Apple Health library or necessarily all raw sensor data. Backup creation and cloud upload depend on device, storage and service availability.
We do not operate a separate YourRep! cloud database and do not receive or access those backups. Keep exported files only in storage locations you trust.
HealthKit and Apple Watch
With your permission, YourRep! uses Apple HealthKit to run strength-training sessions and to read relevant heart-rate information. It can also save a workout started in YourRep! to Apple Health. You can review or change Health access at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings. Data transferred between your iPhone and Apple Watch is used to keep the workout experience in sync.
Camera and photos
YourRep! uses an image you select or requests camera access when you choose to add a custom exercise image. Images are stored on your device and may be included in local backups, exported backup files and your personal iCloud backup.
Website data
This website does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider may process basic technical connection information, such as an IP address and browser request data, to deliver and protect the website. We do not use this information to identify you or create profiles.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your app data with advertisers, data brokers or analytics providers. Apple may process information when you use Apple services such as HealthKit, iCloud Drive or the App Store, subject to Apple's own privacy terms.
Contact emails
If you email support, we process your email address and message to respond to your request. Please do not include unnecessary health information or send a full training backup unless needed and agreed with you.
Retention and deletion
Your app data remains on your devices until you remove it. Deleting the app removes its local app data from that device, but does not automatically remove data stored in Apple Health, on another device, in iCloud or in exported files. Those copies need to be managed separately. Revoking Health access does not delete previously saved records. See Privacy Choices for practical guidance.
Your questions and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to a competent data-protection authority. To ask a question or make a request, email support@yourrep-app.com. Because we do not operate user accounts or a server-side training database, we cannot access or retrieve your local training data for you, but can help explain how to manage it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or website changes. The current version will always be available at this address.
